Profile

Albert is a law lecturer with over fourteen years of practice and the head of chambers.

He provides general direction for the firm and focuses on Energy Law, Mining, Maritime, Climate matters, Tax, Transactions, and Dispute Resolution.

Before joining the firm, he practiced at Dery & Co. and Sory@Law where he had the privilege to have been trained, and subsequently collaborated with distinguished law practitioners.

As a law lecturer, he teaches Energy Law and Constitutional Law at UPSA Law School, where he was instrumental in the setting up of the now-famous UPSA LAW SCHOOL. He is also an Examinations Officer for the Public Law Department of the school.

He has several joint scholarly publications in international journals to his credit and is presently researching some issues of law in Energy, the Prospects of Nuclear Power and Alternate Energy Sources, Climate Change, Climate Action, and Global Climate Action financing. Besides his scholarly publications, Albert has since 2011 contributed paged opinions on issues of national interest to Ghana's national daily newspaper, the Daily Graphic.

Also, he has a media background and has in the past worked as a broadcaster with Citi FM 97.3 where he anchored the Mid-day news and was a regular feature on the Eye Witness News. He has been a panelist on Citi TV's legal education program, A Question of Law, and the host of "Analyses", a Political Talk Show formerly on Starr FM.

He has been part of many panel discussions on issues of national interest, facilitated training workshops, and presented legal papers at a number of international conferences.
